My Nugget: My writing’s in an exhibition!

Back in the summer I had the good fortune to attend a writing workshop with Georgie Jones at Lincoln Arts Centre at the University of Lincoln. She’s a poet and performer and an altogether lovely person. Her poetry is about real life and is fun and uplifting. You can check her out on instagram @georgie_jonez. Her original idea behind the workshops was to help people tap into hope by writing about it.

While I was there I wrote quite a few things prompted by her suggestions. The one that I’m most proud of is the poem that I wrote about how I felt about Acroyoga and the joy it has brought to our Acroyogis and me. This and the other people who attended her in person workshops and online have all contributed to this exhibition. So if you’re able to make it the exhibition is on till the 31st Oct at Lincoln Art Centre from 10-16:00 every day. It’s called ‘The calendar of hopeful things’
